Project Description
Award-winning mobile application designed to be a powerful mobile resource for Utah’s wildlife enthusiasts. Users can:
- Download hunt and fish licenses directly to phone. No paper!
- Learn about upcoming events
- View hunt area maps for their license
- View shooting hours, identify fish species, and link to Utah hunting and fishing guidebooks
My Role – Project/Product Manager
- Lead teams consisting of: developers, designers, sys admins, business analysts and quality assurance to keep application security and feature set udpated
- Manage other updates to the application to increase stability as well as user experience
Success
- Over 190,000 total downloads (Apple Store and Google Play Store)
- Sustained upward growth for new downloads (+6% in 2015, +13% in 2016)
- Won the 2017 Government-to-Citizen Experience Award
- Won Utah 1st Place in the Government Experience Award – one of the suite of applications
